| | | About NEC LCD Monitor Installer |
| | The NEC LCD Monitor Driver Installer is a small stand alone application that will automatically install Microsoft WHQL digitally signed drivers for NEC display monitors, thereby eliminating the complex steps of manually installing drivers.
It contains all current Microsoft WHQL digitally signed drivers and will detect the connected display monitors and install the relevant drivers.
Alternately, the desired monitor model can be manually selected and the corresponding drivers will be pre-installed. It is also possible to pre-install all of the included monitor drivers. The pre-installed drivers will be automatically loaded when the display is connected to the system and restarted.

The application can be run in normal or silent install modes.
In normal mode the application will guide you through the steps automatically detecting the display monitors and installing the drivers.
The application can be run in silent mode by using the "/S" command line switch (i.e. enter "lcd setup /S" at the command line). This can be used for automated remote installations.
Note: Do not install these drivers if you are using:
- NaViSet version 1.1.22 or earlier
- NaViSet Administrator version 1.0.60 or earlier
- SpectraView II version 1.0.31 or earlier
- GammaComp version 1.3.10 or earlier
Do not install these drivers if you are using any of the above software packages that needed to be installed using the setup /z"forcedriver" command line switch, regardless of the software version. Note this command line switch is only needed on a small number of video cards as described in the related README files.

Supported Operating Systems
NEC LCD Monitor Driver Installer supports the following Microsoft Windows Operating systems:
- Microsoft Windows 2000
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional
- Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
- Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition
- Microsoft Windows Tablet PC Edition
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003
- Microsoft Windows XP x64 Edition
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition
- Microsoft Windows Vista Beta 2 and newer
Note the following Microsoft Windows Operating systems are not supported:
- Microsoft Windows 95, 98, 98SE and ME
For these operating systems, please install the monitor drivers manually.
