When powering on the computer, I get an “Out of Range” error message. The computer goes into safe mode and I cannot get anything to work right. It will not enter back into normal mode. What can I do?
| The monitor will display an OUT of RANGE message when the output of the video card in the computer exceeds the monitor's capability. The easiest solution is to get to a point where you can reload the drivers for the monitor. Reset your monitor to its default settings. 1. Restart Windows in “Safe Mode” 2. Click Start, then select Settings, then Control Panel. The Control Panel window opens. 3. Click/Double-click the Display icon. The Display Properties window opens. 4. Click the Settings tab. 5. Click Advanced. The Advanced Display Properties window opens. 6. Click the Monitor tab. 7. Click Change. The Select Device window opens. 8. Select Plug and Play monitor (VESA DDC) by following the on-screen instructions. 9. Restart Windows. After the default driver is working reload the drivers for you monitor
