Why can’t I focus my image?
| Please check the following points to ensure that you obtain a properly-focused image on your projection screen: Deactivate all digital settings which could lead to an interpolated image. The following points should be noted concerning these digital settings: a) If your computer runs at a higher resolution than the natural resolution of the projector then interpolation will take place. For instance, an SVGA projector requires an 800x600 computer signal, so any higher resolution such as 1024x768 will be interpolated to 800x600. b) Ensure that you have an optimum set-up for the projection screen that does not cause any trapezoidal (keystone) distortion which could render automatic or manual keystone correction (including 3D reform) necessary, as any such digital keystone correction would then interpolate your image, leading to the same effect as that noted in point a) above. c) Deactivate the digital zoom. Otherwise your image will be interpolated (see point a) above). Finally, you should of course make sure that the optical focus is correctly adjusted.
