What are Keystone Correction and Automatic Keystone Correction?
| Distortion occurring when the projector is not exactly perpendicular to the screen is called keystoning. To prevent this NEC has developed Keystone Correction, a digital technique for the correction of keystone distortion, replacing it with a sharp, rectangular image. Automatic Keystone Correction adjusts images distorted, either upwards or downwards, due to being projected at an angle. The integrated sensor detects the vertical inclination of the projector up to an angle of +/- 30 degrees. This feature enables the projector to be set up quickly and easily.
