How can I calculate the distance from the projector to the screen?
| By using the projection factor of the lens. This indicates the distance the projector should be placed from the screen in order to achieve a given image width. An example: with a projection factor of 2:1 the projector should be placed 4 metres from the screen in order to achieve an image width of 2 metres. In standard 4:3 mode this would mean an image height of 1.5 metres. To simplify calculation NEC has provided a configurator on the Internet at http://nec.avtool.net/site/index.php?lng=en. Using different lenses, for instance rear projection or telephoto lenses, increases the projectors’ range of use.
