AO Medical Products AB develops and produces ergonomic solutions for end-users within medical IT. Established in 1945, AO Medical have a long experience in the production of products for radiology applications.
During 2003 AO Medical started the development of the radiologist’s workplace for soft copy reading, which today is known as the Carl’s Table. The Carl’s Table is an integrated work environment that includes patented solutions for the Ergotilt and the Adaptive Lighting features. In total there are 450 units of Carl’s Tables installed at hospitals worldwide.
AO Medical has also expanded the product range into ergonomic products for the whole radiology department, such as the Radiographer’s table.
