New naming scheme for NEC Public Displays

Starting with the new 46” ultra-narrow model MultiSync® X461UN we also start with a new naming sheme for the NEC Public Displays. The new series maintains the MultiSync® designation, with the letter “X” – representing Extra, indicating the Public Display has special features.  The subsequent numbers indicate the display size in inches and the particular model’s generation. Particular characteristics, such as ultra-narrow (UN) or high brightness (HB), are shown by the sequence of letters at the end of the product name.
