NEC teams up with Luidia to Provide Increased Interactivity to Customers

NEC Display Solutions announces premium interactive whiteboard kit

Munich and San Carlos, California, 7 November 2011 – NEC Display Solutions Europe and Luidia Inc ., the leading provider of interactive technology that helps the world capture and share content, today announced that Luidia’s eBeam technology features in NEC’s newly launched NP01Wi line of interactive whiteboard kits.

Intent on increasing collaboration, more companies and schools are adopting new technologies that help participants connect more closely to content and each other. A number of projector solutions on the market address this need, but require organisations to purchase and combine multiple components, which can be costly, cumbersome and time-consuming to implement and operate. NEC’s solution was to integrate Luidia’s interactive technology directly into its projector mounts – providing its customers with advanced data collaboration capabilities that make it easy to capture and share projected content in real-time.

The optional NP01Wi module will be compatible with NEC’s U Series and M Short Throw Series projectors. The new interactive whiteboard module will launch in Europe in November 2011.
