Munich, xx March 2008 – NEC Display Solutions proudly presents a new widescreen monitor for its AccuSync® Series. The 22” LCD display offers a cost-effective entry-level 16:10 format monitor for those companies increasingly seeking to replace their 19” 5:4 aspect ratio displays. The NEC AccuSync® LCD224WM has been specially developed for all conventional office applications, such as e-mail, internet browsing, word processing and spreadsheets. The 22” widescreen format offers 24 percent more viewing area compared with traditional 19” LCD’s. Users will benefit from its outstanding easy-on-the-eye features, as well as the ergonomic advantages inherent to a widescreen display.
Widescreen 16:10 format monitors are increasingly becoming the accepted entry-level display of choice. NEC Display Solutions has developed the new AccuSync® widescreen monitor with office applications particularly in mind. The new monitors are characterised by their high performance TN-display, a high 1000:1 contrast ratio, a response time of 5 ms, as well as a competitive price-performance ratio. With a brightness of 300 cd/m2, as well as a palette of 16.7 million different colours, the displays easily satisfy all the standard requirements of an office environment. In addition, integrated speakers (2 x 1 Watt) have been discreetly incorporated into the underside of the bezel. Maximum screen resolution is 1680 x 1050, and the monitor also offers an analogue D-sub connector.
Despite its favourable price-performance ratio, NEC Display Solutions continues to place great emphasis on the high quality, ergonomics and functionality of its entry-level products. To that end, the new widescreen monitor has also been equipped with NTAA (non-touch auto-adjustment), rapid response technology for swift reaction times and intelligent cable management. Naturally it is also NaViSet® compatible.
The new NEC AccuSync® LCD224WM satisfies all the normal standards and certifications such as ISO 13406-2, CE, TÜV GS, TÜV ERGONOMICS and the TCO'03 standard.
Availability and Warranty
The NEC AccuSync® LCD224WM is now commercially available. The display comes in black with a silver bezel. A power cable, VGA cable, handbook, as well as installation and drivers CD are contained within the overall package. NEC Display Solutions offers a 3 year guarantee for these displays, which also includes the background lighting.
